CTET September 2026 - Complete Notification Details
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) ne Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 ka official notification 11 May 2026 ko release kar diya hai. Yeh exam Class 1 to 5 (Paper-I) aur Class 6 to 8 (Paper-II) me teaching positions ke liye eligibility certificate provide karta hai. CTET certificate lifetime valid hai aur Central Government schools (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools) aur many State Government schools me teacher banne ke liye mandatory hai.

CTET Educational Qualification
Paper-I (Class 1 to 5 - Primary Teacher):
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks AND passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks AND passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma as per NCTE 2002 norms
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks AND passed/appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks AND passed/appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- OR Graduation with B.Ed degree from NCTE recognised institution
Paper-II (Class 6 to 8 - Upper Primary Teacher):
- Graduation with at least 50% marks AND passed/appearing in final year of B.Ed from NCTE recognised institution
- OR Graduation with at least 45% marks AND passed/appearing in B.Ed as per NCTE 2002 regulations
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks AND passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
- OR Graduation with at least 50% marks AND passed/appearing in 1-year B.Ed (Special Education)
