- Candidates must have valid UPSSSC PET 2025 Score Card with positive normalized score
- Without UPSSSC PET 2025 score card, candidate cannot apply
- Shortlisting for Main Exam will be based on PET 2025 normalized scores

- Platoon Commander: Graduation (Bachelor's Degree) in any discipline from a recognized University. Additional preference for NCC certificates / sports / physical training background.
- Block Organizer: Graduation (Bachelor's Degree) in any discipline from a recognized University.

UPSSSC Platoon Commander - Selection Process
- Stage 1 — PET 2025 Score Shortlisting: Candidates shortlisted for Main Exam based on UPSSSC PET 2025 normalized scores (post-wise category cutoff).
- Stage 2 — Main Written Examination: Objective MCQ — General Knowledge, Reasoning, Hindi, English, UP-specific GK, Computer Knowledge. CBT mode, 2 hours.
- Stage 3 — Physical Standard Test (PST): Height, Chest measurement (Male).
- Stage 4 — Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running, push-ups, long jump (especially for Platoon Commander post).
- Stage 5 — Document Verification: Original certificate verification.
- Final Selection: Based on Main Exam marks + PET/PST clearance + DV.
