Recruitment Details

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducted the RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) Graduate Level CBT 1 examination from 16 March to 27 March 2026 to recruit candidates for various posts in Indian Railways. The RRB NTPC Result is expected to be released in June 2026 on the official websites of regional RRBs. Selected candidates will appear in the CBT 2 exam; the exam dates for the CBT 2 exam will be released later.

The results for Graduate and Undergraduate posts under RRB NTPC 2026 will be announced separately in PDF format. The RRB NTPC result PDF will contain the roll numbers of candidates selected for the next stage of the recruitment process. Under the RRB NTPC 2025–26 recruitment drive, a total of 8,868 vacancies were released, out of which 5,810 vacancies are for Graduate-level posts. The CBT 1 exam for Graduate posts was held in multiple shifts at different exam centres through computer-based mode.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to announce the CBT 1 Result in May or June 2026 on the official regional RRB websites. Although the board has not yet confirmed the exact result date, candidates who appeared in the examination conducted from 16 March to 27 March 2026 can expect the result soon based on previous recruitment timelines.

The Result download link will be activated on the official websites of the respective regional RRBs. Candidates can check the merit list PDF without entering any login details. To access the result, candidates need to open their regional RRB website, find the NTPC Result link, and download the PDF file.

The RRB NTPC 2026 CBT 1 cut-off marks will be released along with the result for different regions and categories. The scorecard will also be available for all candidates, showing their exam marks and performance. Candidates can download the cut-off list and scorecard from the official regional RRB websites after the results are announced.

Age Limit

Age limit: See official notification. Age relaxation is available as per Government of India / State Government rules — OBC (NCL) +3 years, SC/ST +5 years, PwBD +10 years, Ex-Servicemen as per applicable rules.

Selection Process

1. Online Written Examination / CBT: Objective MCQ test covering relevant subjects, general awareness, reasoning and aptitude.
2. Skill Test / Interview: Wherever applicable for shortlisted candidates.
3. Document Verification: Original certificate verification at the final stage.
4. Medical Examination: For posts that require medical fitness.

Salary / Vetan

Selected candidates will be paid as per the official pay scale. As per 7th Pay Commission / pay matrix plus DA, HRA, TA and other admissible allowances. Government job benefits include PF, gratuity, NPS pension, medical facility, LTC and job security.
