Recruitment Details
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is in the middle of RBI Grade B 2026 Examination which is being conducted for ‘Recruitment of Grade B Officers in General/DEPR/DSIM posts’. As of now, RBI has announced the names of Phase 1 (Prelims) qualified candidates and they will be appearing for Phase 2 (Mains) exam.
The Phase 2 exam will be held on 25th and 26th July for General and DEPR/DSIM posts, respectively and candidates are advised to appear for the exam on time along with their call letter. Those who qualify in Mains, will be called for Psychometric test and Interview which is the final stage.
The RBI Grade B examination is one of the most prestigious regulatory body examinations in India, offering an excellent salary package, career growth opportunities, and a chance to work with the country’s central bank. As per the official notification, Phase 2 examination for the General and DEPS/DSIM streams has been scheduled for 25th and 26th July 2026, respectively. Candidates who qualify the Phase 2 examination will be shortlisted for the last stage of the recruitment process, which is the Interview round.

Age Limit
Age limit: 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is available as per Government of India / State Government rules — OBC (NCL) +3 years, SC/ST +5 years, PwBD +10 years, Ex-Servicemen as per applicable rules.
Selection Process
- Online Written Examination / CBT: Objective MCQ test covering relevant subjects, general awareness, reasoning and aptitude.
- Skill Test / Interview: Wherever applicable for shortlisted candidates.

Salary / Vetan
