The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the I CAI Executive Officer Recruitment 2026 (Advertisement No. 07/2026/HRD/04) inviting online applications from Chartered Accountants, including freshers, for 50 regular Executive Officer posts.

This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for newly qualified and experienced CAs to work with India’s premier accounting regulatory body in areas such as accounting standards, auditing, taxation, financial reporting, corporate laws, policy research, and regulatory compliance.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has published the detailed Executive Officer Recruitment 2026 notification. Selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Level 10 with an annual CTC of approximately ₹15.68 lakh, along with DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, NPS, gratuity, LTC, and other admissible benefits. The selection process consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Personal Interview.

ICAI has announced 50 vacancies for the post of Executive Officer. The selected candidates will initially be posted at Delhi/Noida, but they can be transferred to any ICAI office across India depending on organisational requirements.

Age Limit

Age limit: See official notification. Age relaxation is available as per Government of India / State Government rules — OBC (NCL) +3 years, SC/ST +5 years, PwBD +10 years, Ex-Servicemen as per applicable rules.

Selection Process

1. Online Written Examination / CBT: Objective MCQ test covering relevant subjects, general awareness, reasoning and aptitude.
2. Skill Test / Interview: Wherever applicable for shortlisted candidates.
3. Document Verification: Original certificate verification at the final stage.
4. Medical Examination: For posts that require medical fitness.

Salary / Vetan

Selected candidates will be paid as per the official pay scale. As per 7th Pay Commission / pay matrix plus DA, HRA, TA and other admissible allowances. Government job benefits include PF, gratuity, NPS pension, medical facility, LTC and job security.
